Initially started as a catering business in 1991, Cibo De Campania Catering (Italian for "Food of the Country") prepared meals for parties and corporate events. The brilliantly colored pestos, incredible flavored soft cheeses and layered tortas quickly became the favorites during these events. Customers continually asked where they could buy the savory pesto and cheeses. Taking the customer's plea to heart, the company designed the first retail products under the CIBO label.

The first orders came from local upscale independent grocery stores in the Seattle Market. As word spread and orders increased, CIBO soon moved into a larger production facility. Over time, the product line was expanded but the focus remained the same-to provide all-natural products. And the company's name changed to CIBO Naturals to reflect this commitment.

Throughout the years, CIBO has always stayed committed to providing all-natural, great-tasting products.
