Can CIBO retail products be frozen?

    Our pestos can be frozen for up to 26 weeks.

    Our cheeses and bruschetta topping can also be frozen. However, once thawed, the texture and consistency of these products will change.

Can I still use the product past its expiration date?

    CIBO products are made fresh, without preservatives. So the only way to extend the product's shelf life is to freeze it. If not frozen we do not recommend using any product past its expiration date.

Where can I locate the expiration date on CIBO products?

  • 7 oz Cheeses & Bruschetta Topping - on the bottom of the container.
  • 6 oz Pestos - the retail deli stamps the expiration date on the package.
  • 7 oz Dips - on the bottom of the container.
  • Retail Pastas - stamped near the edge of the clear plastic packaging.
  • 22 oz Pestos - on the back of the jar, in the lower left side of the label.
  • 30 oz Dips - on the lid.
  • 30 oz Bruschetta Topping - on the lid.

Where can I find suggestions on how to use CIBO products?

Can I purchase products directly from CIBO?

    CIBO products can only be purchased through retail stores or Costco. To find a location nearest you, visit the Where to Buy section.

What is pesto?

    Pesto is an Italian sauce consisting of oil and fresh herbs. Traditionally, pesto sauces were made from fresh basil, garlic, Parmesan cheese and nuts. CIBO has updated this delicious tradition to include other fresh ingredients.

Which CIBO products contain nuts?

    Our Basil & Roasted Walnut Cheese, Vegan Tomato Pesto, Basil Pine Pesto, Classic Basil Pesto, Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli contain tree nuts. Our Roasted Chicken & Prosciutto Ravioli contains peanuts

Which CIBO Products contain dairy ingredients?

    All of our products contain dairy except for Olive Tapenade, Vegan Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto, Tomato & Artichoke Bruschetta, Tomato & Basil Bruschetta and Olive Trio Bruschetta Toppings.

Do CIBO products contain gluten?

    Our pastas contain gluten. All of our other products (sauces, dips and toppings)are gluten-free.
